Being United together is strength. When people come together as a group our most valuable assets become each other. Armored with friends and uniting together we can stand for freedom, for a greater cause other than ourselves.
What lights a fire in your veins? What are you compelled to change?
Differences can be made if we stand together. So many of my friends right now are dismayed, saying “what’s the point ? and “There is no hope?” One small voice in a crowd does little to change the tide, but several voices can make a resounding sound. I encourage you to not give in to what you believe, your virtues. Our faith and the inherent truth in our beliefs are worth fighting for.
I’m often reminded of the phrase, God does not call us to be comfortable. He does not, he calls us to his will. He calls us to follow him. Ask the disciples, this at times was very uncomfortable, difficult and scary. Most of the disciples died for what they stood for. Yet they did not back down.
We are to follow after Jesus in the same way, despite our fear and the comforts left behind.
This doesn’t mean we have to go across the country or forge a life as a missionary, but what is God calling for here at home? In our community, with our neighbor. This is the frontlines, this is where the biggest difference can be made for each other.
Fellow Christians, in a time where the world needs us the most, needs to know the love of Christ. I pray we stand together on Gods word United. Where will you stand ?
Will you wait on the sidelines in comfort? Or be out standing up for what you believe in? I encourage you to stand in faith and speak truth. United together.
Losing a job, friend or comfort is not worth giving up my beliefs. I will not stand down and I pray for comfort and peace as we all journey ahead.
