Taking Our Family to Uncharted Territories In An RV

I know! Sounds crazy, right? If you are like me, I would have read this and clicked, thinking “No, she’s not serious.” The crazy part is, I am. We are the coopers is officially moving on the road and into an RV. That means 5 humans, 2 big and 3 little, plus the dog are cramming into an RV to get out and enjoy life!

Why RV?

When John and I first started dating we always had this crazy idea to get out and see this beautiful country we live in. We wanted to explore, see what the US has to offer and go. With college, buying a house and having kids, this idea was put on the back burner for a while…

Fast forward to last year, we now rent, our boys are 6, 4 and almost 2 and life seems a little more stable. When I started homeschooling my oldest last year (kindergarten), this idea of traveling came back into the forefront of my mind. I thought, wouldn’t it be amazing if he could see the world while he was learning. To reach out in touch what he sees in a book instead of just reading about it. I couldn’t shake the dream to travel, so I started to look for options on how this could possibly work.

How is RV life possible?

As a nurse I am lucky to have a lot of options for my career. One of those options is travel nursing. This is where you can locate to different areas depending on where there is needs. I am really excited to try this and seem some new opportunities as well as learn!

In between working I am hoping to to see all there is to see and get in some hiking with the family. We are really excited for all the opportunity there is! God created such a beautiful country.
