We are lonelier than ever in isolation
Regardless of staying home or isolation, tragedy still strikes, heart ❤️ break still comes.
The hardest thing about separation is not being able to hug my friend, hold her hand while she cries 😭 BE There.
I find in my walk as a Christian many times I am just there for others. There with a meal, there with a hug, someone to talk to. I feel called to be next to the lonely, helpless and abandoned. Isolation makes being there impossible. Makes helping the lonely unimaginable –
This is the worst and loneliest place to be. A zoom call or text can never replace that face to face, that hug, that support.
God calls us to raise up and support those in need and this, this just sucks .
I’ll admit I am struggling. Struggling though I am joyous, struggling even though I know I am blessed. We are so lucky to be healthy and well. I am struggling not being able to be there for other people. Be there for my friends who hearts are breaking. To show Christ’s love ❤️
Are you struggling with not being there ? I know I am and I want you to know it’s ok. It’s alright to struggle, to wrestle and to doubt. Reach out in every way that you can and be there as well as you can. We will make it through this together.
