Thanksgiving is right around the corner ! That means little hands need crafts and fun for the cold indoor weather. We love crafting before the holidays. It’s fun entertainment for the kids and makes hand made gifts for the family. Today, I’m sharing my favorite Thanksgiving crafts with you.

Thanksgiving Cornucopia

I love a good foam sticker craft. They’re easy, no mess and cheap! You can usually snag the bundle at the dollar store or Micheals for a few dollars a piece.

The backs peel off the stickers and kiddos can place them as they like. They make great holiday cards or place settings.

Painted Corn Stalks

Corn is a fall favorite here. We often decorate the house with dried corn stalks and adventure through corn mazes.

For this craft all you need is to cut white construction paper into corn shapes. Then cut a few brown pieces for the stalks. Have the kiddos glue them together. Then cut a sponge into a small circle and let kiddos dap them in their favorite paint to make the kernels.

We often decorate the kids bedroom door with all the corn we’ve made.

Turkey Feet

These cute pictures make the cutest gifts for the Thanksgiving host. I usually grab these paint canvas’s at Micheals during a sale. You can grab a pack of 2 or 3 for about 5 dollars.

To make a Thanksgiving turkey canvas, start by dipping your kiddos bare foot into brown paint. Have them press onto the middle of the canvas with toes facing the bottom of the picture.

Once those toes are clean have them dip their hands into different colors of paint and press along the foot print to make the turkeys wings. Once dry you can add eyes, nose and even a funny turkey smile. Turkey smiles won’t be the same this holiday season unless you are content with what you have. Check out our post on contentment here.
